Contortionism

one of millions to put it shortly, I believe this album to be above repetition, endurance in extreme longevities. kind of like trying to outrun a gazelle. not by speed. but by endurance. I feel repetition is emphasized a lot in this album, with every song being a different abstraction of that vivid zone you get into when completely on it and focused. I especially like the ending, reiterating what was presented in "we'reok", in how given this extreme stretching of our limits (as you would in contortion), it's important to reassure yourself and everybody else watching "that I'm okay. I'm cool" even when at times it can seem hard and painful. I really like this album and am glad to have found it. honestly felt compelled to just listen to it without thinking about its composition for awhile before writing this. that's how I know this particular sound speaks to me :)
